Ozeri 3 piece Ceramic Knife set

Hello everyone I am back and ready to share without another great testing opportunity from the Swedish Company Ozeri. Let me just say that I love receiving products from them not only are they very functional but they are stylish and elegant and elicit those oohs and ahhs we love hearing.

Before I write a review I like to have the opportunity to test the product out at a minimum three time to get a proper feel for it work out any kinks to see if its me or the product itself. This especially pertains to small appliances, beauty tools anything that's considered a "gadget". After using the product I get my husband involved in the experience this gives me a better view as to how it works what I did wrong or the technique used even the ease of the product itself how it fits into our daily routine etc. I know I said a mouthful but I like to be able to write a step by step user's guide for the everyday Mom, Dad or Person. I want to point out a possible glitch so that the use can be aware beforehand or not too surprised because they read this issue many or may not arise.

A little backdrop on this company Ozeri is a specialty manufacture of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. Their products are found in vacation residences, fractional residences, timeshares and condos as listed on their website.


In the photo  is The Elite Chef Black Ceramic 3 Piece Knife Set. These knives are made from 100% ceramic and can slice/ cut through fruits vegetables and boneless meats with ease. I would nit let your kiddos use these if they are in the kitchen with you. Because the blades are sharp injury will be likely. As an adult using g these I have been known to slice my fingernails they are just that good so do exercise caution and keep these out of their hands. Also I implore you as the adult to exercise caution and pay attention when using these or any other sharp kitchen utensil.

I was vey impressed when I opened the box to examine my knives they have a good sturdy handle that's not likely to become corroded and fall of.  Which happens which happens frequently with other knives where the handles are welded on. They come in three sizes small. medium and large if you will depending on the task at hand. The three sizes allow you to use on different foods and meats and not worry about cross contamination. 

I used the largest blade to slice strips of chicken breast for my salad now while chicken breast is an easy meats to slice getting it the right thickness can be a challenge without the proper knife as well as the sharpness of the blade.

I use the other two for my fruits and vegetables. I am very pleased with these knives as a home cook who is constantly preparing meals I am always purchasing new knives because the blades have lost their sharpness these knives while only a few months old are doling their job in the kitchen and making my meal prep easier and faster than before

P.S.I forgot to mention that these do not come with a sheath and while they are dishwasher safe I wash by hand dry with a microfiber cloth and wrap these in  a Chef wrap that is available on Amazon for about $7 and keep these up high just away from the drawers where my kids go.

M.I.A Surprise News

Hello its been awhile so sorry that I have been missing so long it was not my intention but my health was down and I just couldn't find the energy needed to post. I have gotten some amazing products during that time and also have some wonderful news. I have debated on whether or not to share this here or not. I finally decided to do it since there are a lot of free samples to be had in this category and they are always changing and seasonal in that they come out a few times a year but rest assured there will be samples.

Enough of the prolonging I will drop a pic below that will say it all. Just know that it caught my husband and I by surprise. I am in the final stages of the first trimester and getting my energy back and can return to the things that I love to do .

As I get them I will post separate posts on Baby Samples and on the other samples and products and samples that I am able to receive. It will keep everything clean especially when searching this way you can head over to the baby samples post if that's your interest without having to search through.

Ozeri Kitchen Gadgets

Hello I recently joined a product testing company called Ozeri. Ozeri is a speciality manufacturer of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. The company expanded their products into timeshares vacation homes and condo homes rentals.

I got the website from a friend and applied to review for them and was approved. They send you a form of the available products you choose the ones you would like to test and review. It takes 2-3 weeks for the products to arrive and you know the rest of the story.

I ordered three products from Ozeri an Electric Corkscrew, a Salad Spinner and an Electric Pepper mill. I chose products that I would use and that I wanted. I loved the salad spinner its dishwasher safe ad breaks into three separate parts- a colander, salad spinner, and a serving bowl. It handles well the handle takes a bit to get used to. Rinse our lettuce leaves and salad greens and enjoy a crops dry salad instead of soggy leaves. You can feel safe using in the dishwasher the colander and the serving bowl. I suggest wiping the lid with you dish cloth and letting air dry.

Next Electric Wine Opener comes with four AA batteries works on natural and synthetic corks and is very stylish and elegant great for entertaining friends open many bottles and not break conversations. A must for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

The eketric pepper mill is a great kitchen gadget for the gourmet cook. Its great for those of UA cooks who want freshly ground pepper Cinnamon allspice etc in our favorite recipes. It helps add potent flavor to your dishes. Its sleek design makes an added elegance to an intimate setting. The handle is made of a soft durable rubber easy to clean just mild soap on a soft cloth wipe and dry do not immerse in water.

I enjoyed this mission and look forward to testing more products from this Company. I estimate the total cost of products to $80 at least. So another great haul for absolutely free for my honest review and experience. #gotitfree #frugalista #ozeri

Crowdtap Sampling Campaign Unilever pt 2

This the second part of my sampling campaign from Crowdtap in collaboration with Unilever. As you all know Unilever has many brands and products under their umbrella Old Spice, Suave, Dove just to name a few. I got Suave Products the first box and a combo of Dove and Suave products this lap.

I usually don't list the prices of the products but I will from here on in. Crowdtap has helped keep this frugalista happy and saved me so much money this month.

Unilever Crowdtap Mission

Hello blossoms I am back with a new set of reviews and products and they are all exciting forgive me if I start to ramble. So I got accepted into two sampling campaigns/missions from crowdtap my absolutely fav. This time its for Unilever products Suave Dove Tressame' just to name a few.

I adore Suave products they are not only affordable but very gentle on the skin. They are very comparable to the national brands. A lot of my friend's and family who have sensitive skin feel very comfortable using their products. I put the aerosol deodorant to the test.

 As you blossoms know I reside in hot humid Florida where on a good day the temperatures can range from 85 degrees and up. And thy both held up to the 24 hour promise of keeping my dry and smelling good.

With the holding sprays the allowed my hair to stand up to the humidity and hold my hairstyle. I didn't get an opportunity to take a photo. 

Crowdtap Mission Julep 5-in 1 Cushion Complex

Hello luvs so my latest sampling mission is from Crowdtap and boy this is was such a beauty haul. Julep Beauty's 5-in-1 Cushion Complex with Tumeric. This a multitasking foundation is for the woman on the go. The Mom who puts her makeup on while dropping the kids off and head to errands and appointments. 

Julep's Cushion Complex Conceal Correct, Illuminate, Blur, Brighten. It gives flawless natural cover up with Tumeric brightening with long term use. And for this #certifiedbeachgirl. This is right up my alley I couldn't wait to unbox and try on. I have tried this with primer only, and without. And this worked with both this set to a natural demi-matte finish. Coverage is also buildable.

Convenient coverage on the go. This was not only a breeze to use but the shade are do vast and blend right into your skin. And even though these go for $30 a tube this us definetly a splurge 

 First night I had to try this right away I forgot to take a before picture but hubby remarked how it blended right into my skin. There was no line of demarcation

First Day of School 3rd 2017

So luvs hope everyone had an awesome week, after getting settled into Back-to-School just wanted to share with everyone my little 3rd grader he switched schools so he's all new but already made 2 new friends.  I will post more photos on my computer I am temporarily using my cellphone and there are a few issues uploading pics.

As for the 15 year old no pics allowed this year in fact I was shooed of of school property with a 'Mom I'm good' so with that I left and said Mom he's Good

Maple Holistics Additional products

Hello again luvs do a few weeks ago I told you about my favorite Natural Skincare Company so when I last posted I had reviewed their Argan and Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. Since then I heaved received two other product's from them 1) Witch Hazel Toner with Lavender and Aloe Vera (alcohol free) therapeutic grade Witch Hazel Toner, and their Vitamin C Anti-Aging Serum (pics posted below).

The Witch Hazel Alcohol free  Toner comes in a generous long slender bottle standing 8 oz's tall. This toner contains Lavender Essential Oil along with Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel. This toner is the best I have used so far and has done an excellent job of helping me keep my oily skin at bay. It refreshed my skin on days when I wore no makeup and ran errands clearing away dust dirt and grime. It is easy to use a few drops on a cotton ball or a cosmetic cotton pad. The scent is light not overpowering and leaves your skin feeling tingly not in a bad way in the way of a cool breeze blowing on it.

I have also been using the Vitamin C Anti Aging Serum. It comes in an amber bottle 1 fl.oz. with a bulb syringe its a medium yellow in color. Vitamin C is known to brighten and tighten your skin and smooth away wrinkles this is safe and gentle enough to use twice a day after cleansing and toning. The scent is like a non alcoholic malt beverage. I am using this as a preventive measure to combat wrinkles and lighten dark acne spots.

Almay One Coat Mega Volume Mascara Review

Thank you Crowdtap and Almay for choosing me to test out the Almay One Coat Megaphone Volume Mascara. This is my new holy grail go-to mascara not only does this mascara build volume it lengthens my eyelashes. Dramatically so, I got the color Blackest Black and love the weird megaphone shape because of the shape it captured each and every eyelash and amps up the volume . No need for falsies. I also love the trendy electric pink top and white tube make it very noticeable in my makeup bag.  I love the wear it lasted 8 hours with no touch ups.

Smiley360 Mission Bic Gel-ocity Mission

 

 

Hello Followers I am back with another review  quick one but satisfying nonetheless. You all know that I get very excited when I am chosen for a product review/mission from any of the many W.O.M (WORD OF MOUTH) programs that I belong and if you didn't just a little hint I can get antsy lol.  I love writing and I love my pens its a habit leftover form my teenage years.

Today I am reviewing Bic Gel-ocity Quick Drying Ink pens my package came with the Turquoise, Pink and Purple inks vs. the Blue Black and Red inks of the traditional previous pens. I have tested it out already as you can see in the picture by writing my son Diego a looong note reminding him to take out the trash. The point is smooth and didn't skip the color is bright vibrant and trendy. The pen is retractable which helps to decrease those surprise ink marks also the barrel of the pen has a smooth gel-like feel with five ridges on the sides to help with gripping the instrument. Quick Drying so that you can miss those ink smears and messy work.

All in all I love them I love the colors the smoothness and ease of writing with the pen and will be rocking these pens for the rest of the year.

A new Collabo?

Hello everyone time for a new round up of products that I have received and reviews. Before I move on I would like to speak about an awesome company that I have been using for about three-four years off and on. Let me wheel it back in because its a combo of a lot of things natural skin care, fighting acne healing and fading acne scars my thyroid condition and my latest birthday unfortunately I will not reveal my age lol I will say that I am over 35 and I rock #teamgemini  that's it.

Since about a year ago I have been more interested in using more natural skin care items on my skin and for my hair. Now there are some things that I still use and I haven't found a way around them as yet. Recent Frees Samples Recap pt2

I got a V.I.P invite to test out an unlocked GSM Sim Card for my cellphone from Ting Mobile (www.ting.com) in conjunction with SAMPLESOURCE US (there is also a Canadian branch of the company. Now the gist of Tin Mobile is that you pay for what use use less pay less use more pay a little more it essentially allows you to set limits on the features you use. Like for instance I am a heavy data user so I set the limit on data higher than my text message feature and set my calling to 500 mins. This works fir me as I use Facebook Messenger Hangouts and various messaging apps so my bill for this will be lower.

A seven day supply of moisturizer from Lancome'

Now this comes from the Depends company two new products in the protective underwear brand active fit and a slimmer silhouette. I have used this brand before as I use protective underwear for my post partum care.  They are great after a csection when bladder muscles are still weak when getting to the bathroom may take longer than usual. With the new designs it will be less detectable than past designs. Also if you have a bladder control issue and lead an active life then this new design will be great

Going forward and then backwards this is the most recent free sample this came on Saturday I got a free code for $5 that I was able to combine with free shipping that gave me my coveted Dukes Lippiestix from Colourpop.






Now the below pic shows swag from a gun safety I don't remember which one because most freebies can take anywhere from 6 -8 weeks sometimes longer the kit contained a key chain a patch for your jacket a stick decal and a lanyard.

The below picture is my sample from Crowdtap- RX Bar for kids they have 7 grams of Protein. The bars contain egg whites almonds cashews and dates and natural flavors from apples natural vanilla and cinnamon.  Its the good for kids snack.  Now I tried my husband and my 15 year old tried it needless to say that its an acquired taste my 15 year old says it tastes like shoe leather belt in that order-ouch kids are rough but truthful. For me I would need lots of liquid to get this down the hatch.

I received this product for free for my honest opinion and review.

I must admit that when I first tried Purex Crystals Scentboosters I did not immediately smell any difference my family members dud but I did not so I went back at it again. I took my toughest smelliest clothing dirty gym sucks sweaty athletic wear read the instructions and washed again dried again.  This time it worked I pouted in my regular detergent and took the crystals abd sprinkled a few in my husbands sucks heck the whole family's sucks and clothing and continued onto the regular cycle. Cycle complete abd the socks were node worthy you know where you can put a piece if clothing to your nose without cringing. Oh my how marvelous his socks smelled and there was even a bit of brightening power.

Now its been about 2 weeks since I first started the campaign and the clothes still feel soft and smell like they just came out of the dryer

As I became accustomed to the vibrations my mouth I realized that I didn't have to work so hard at brushing that my gums felt oh so good from being massaged by the bristles.  I felt the cleaning taking

Hello to all of my followers recently I was hired outside of my home which cut down on my time sent reviewing. But as I have my blog attached to many of the W.O.M (word of mouth) . And I got the brand Harvey Prince to follow me I waned to really concentrate on the mission that I was undertaking as well as reviewing to the best of my ability as well as bring honest and thorough not everything I come across is not o my liking or that it fits me do i lie no I post and include that this product was simply just not for me.

I started my page without really thinking about it. I just did it and I am glad that I did get excited about views and interactions that it receives. I have endeavored to limit my posts to weekly on here and as the items cone on on key Facebook Page check it out as it is more visual in pictures

Hello love bugs I apologize its been awhile since I posted. I had a bit of a slow period this New Year. And I wanted to explain how the free samples/product reviews campaigns missions flow. as each company has their differences they also share similar protocols as to how products are dispersed and who get to receive them.

 

Let's start with the free samples as straightforward as the name is there are a few common misconceptions about them first off its free the company's send them out it an effort to drum up extra business and to quickly spread the word out to a broader market. Secondly, because its free it take take longer to arrive up to 8 weeks which means it most cases if you are an avid free sampler, like myself you may have forgotten about the product by the time it arrives. But its always a joyous surprise and a picker upper to your otherwise gloomy day.

 

Now onto the Product Review sites Smiley360, Bzzagent, Influenster to name some of the top sites these host prequalifying surveys based on a company's needs and criteria as a member of this community not every campaign/ mission you will qualify and even if do qualify the spots can fill up rather quickly especially if the hosting client needs only 300 spots but 900 people sign up then they have to refine the projected market.

Either way the listed company's have fun activities that aid in"the word of mouth" mission/campaigns and award you with points or badges for taking part in the activities. Basically you are showing that you are a good sport not just focused on the free goodies and enjoy social media and spreading the word about a new product or an old product that you have rediscovered. thus helping to keep the community alive, fun, thriving and exciting.

The first one is from Smiley360 now Smiley360 is one of my favorites they have great missions and I can say that they have helped me become better at leaving reviews at sharing my products received and about posting and tagging them on Social Media in fact my friends have come to expect to see my posts and pics. I have now gotten to watermarking my photos to follow through with the guidelines that I received a product for free for an honest review on different social media sites and the company's site.

 

 

The bottom two photo's are for the Edy's Campaign held by Smiley360 It was a joy to rediscover the Edy's brand and to share it with my family. It made Family night which is every Friday a bit more special and because of the wholesomeness of the ingredients, it made me more secure in giving such a luscious treat to my kids 

 

 

 

 

 

The next campaign was held by the brand itself Mucinex. I won a Mr. Mucus doll and took him shopping with me as I planned for my girl's night soiree. I was beginning to feel under the weather but because it was my turn couldn't just cancel so I took my doll and two doses of Mucinex to help me get through the busy day and got the event of without anyone knowing that I wasn't feeling well. Along with the food and treats their was a lot of disinfectant on hand to help with the prevention of spreading my sickness.

 

The next Campaign I am gearing up for will be from Bzzagent it promises to be a fun one, until next time keep smiling and keep shining!!!
