Before I write a review I like to have the opportunity to test the product out at a minimum three time to get a proper feel for it work out any kinks to see if its me or the product itself. This especially pertains to small appliances, beauty tools anything that's considered a "gadget". After using the product I get my husband involved in the experience this gives me a better view as to how it works what I did wrong or the technique used even the ease of the product itself how it fits into our daily routine etc. I know I said a mouthful but I like to be able to write a step by step user's guide for the everyday Mom, Dad or Person. I want to point out a possible glitch so that the use can be aware beforehand or not too surprised because they read this issue many or may not arise.
A little backdrop on this company Ozeri is a specialty manufacture of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. Their products are found in vacation residences, fractional residences, timeshares and condos as listed on their website.
In the photo is The Elite Chef Black Ceramic 3 Piece Knife Set. These knives are made from 100% ceramic and can slice/ cut through fruits vegetables and boneless meats with ease. I would nit let your kiddos use these if they are in the kitchen with you. Because the blades are sharp injury will be likely. As an adult using g these I have been known to slice my fingernails they are just that good so do exercise caution and keep these out of their hands. Also I implore you as the adult to exercise caution and pay attention when using these or any other sharp kitchen utensil.
I was vey impressed when I opened the box to examine my knives they have a good sturdy handle that's not likely to become corroded and fall of. Which happens which happens frequently with other knives where the handles are welded on. They come in three sizes small. medium and large if you will depending on the task at hand. The three sizes allow you to use on different foods and meats and not worry about cross contamination.
I used the largest blade to slice strips of chicken breast for my salad now while chicken breast is an easy meats to slice getting it the right thickness can be a challenge without the proper knife as well as the sharpness of the blade.
I use the other two for my fruits and vegetables. I am very pleased with these knives as a home cook who is constantly preparing meals I am always purchasing new knives because the blades have lost their sharpness these knives while only a few months old are doling their job in the kitchen and making my meal prep easier and faster than before
P.S.I forgot to mention that these do not come with a sheath and while they are dishwasher safe I wash by hand dry with a microfiber cloth and wrap these in a Chef wrap that is available on Amazon for about $7 and keep these up high just away from the drawers where my kids go.
